The circle of life

Today I was chatting to a producer pal.

“Do you remember when you gave birth?” he asked.

“Of course I do!” I said. “One of the best days of my life…so many memories…such emotion…”

“I’m not talking about actual birth, you stupid cow. I’m talking about when you gave birth on a radio commercial.”

I love it when he talks dirty to me.

“Ah that,” I mused.

“And then there’s the back to school ads. The wedding fayre ads…”

“…the funeral home commercials,” I said.

“Yes,” he said. “Listening to you always makes me think about death.”

(I think he was joking).
