Geek alert: An interview with Global FM about my role as the Starship Avalon in ‘Passengers’

I admit it, I’m a geek. And I’m a massive audio geek. I love that the BBC sound effect for a head being guillotined was made by a water melon being chopped in half. I love watching Foley artists add SFX to movies. I love making insect-feeding noises by crinkling sweet wrappers in front of a microphone. (Don’t ask, but at my house the long winter evenings fly by).

If you’re as sad as me, you’ll love this interview with me and Dave James from Spain’s Global FM. Want to know a bit more about my role in Passengers? You’ve come to the right place.

I’ve known Dave for ages and he’s worked with me as a voiceover for yonks. So it was good to talk to him about something completely different.

Grab a cuppa and enjoy.

If you just can’t get enough, here’s more info about Passengers and how the whole thing came about.
