down under-ground?

Today I had an email from a guy in Australia who heard about the hoo-ha around my spoof tube announcements.  I’ll let him explain:

Luke Downs of RMK Voice Productions:  “Your story about losing the London Underground voice announcements made the news pages here in Australia and was across many of the talkback radio stations agendas. Interestingly enough we supply many voices for transport networks around the country and were asked to supply ‘expert opinion’ on the ABC’s Radio National Program – seems everyone on this side of the planet agrees you were hard done by and London Underground should lighten up!”

Jake Downs from RMK came up with the following ‘spoof’ announcements for Sydney’s (apparently) less than efficient Transport system.

Have a listen.  Top, top stuff.
