Spooky sounds for Hallowe’en

Fancy being spooked? Here are some ghostly bits and bobs.

First up: a ghost story told in music. I wrote this for a string quartet. When I wrote it, I wanted to invoke the chill of the crypt… A phantom grey lady appears, gliding through a garden at midnight… See if you can hear how she creeps up on the poor guy who’s witnessing the apparition.

This is an eerie story I recorded with Rik Watson for the podcast series When We Got To The Seventh.

And this…well, this is just daft.
