Blink-and-you’ll-miss-me just after midnight

No, it’s not the title of a little-known Abba song. Tonight, just after the stroke of midnight, London will celebrate the first minutes of 2018 with a firework display like no other. Set against the iconic backdrop of the London skyline, it’s a sight to behold.

If you’re watching (or listening) either live in London or on the BBC you’ll hear a tiny glimpse of me among the sizzles and bangs. I’m honoured that my voice is being used (fleetingly) in the display. So tune in, turn it up and enjoy.

This year, I’m in London so will be able to hear the celebrations from just around the corner. I have to be up early in the morning so I’ll be tucked up in bed…but raise a glass of something for me, would you? And have a very happy, prosperous and in every way wonderful 2018.

You can hear me at 6’28” if you fancy giving it a listen. Enjoy! 🙂

can’t sleeeeeeep!!!
